Downtown and campus weekend traffic stacks up

Lincoln has a busy Friday-Saturday stretch ahead. North 17th Street from O to P streets is scheduled to close today and reopen Sunday, while Star City Pride runs events at Woods Park today and outside Das Haus on Saturday, with Saturday's parade around the Nebraska State Capitol.

The Savannah Bananas also bring Banana Ball to Memorial Stadium on Saturday, and UNL's stadium-area parking and Stadium Drive restrictions remain in effect during event setup. Add the U.S. soccer watch party at the Railyard tonight, and this is a weekend to give downtown, the Haymarket, and City Campus extra time.
